A few measurements and decisions eliminate a huge amount of wrong-part frustration.

Measure First.
Then Spend.

Write down the truck generation, engine, transmission, tire diameter, rear gear, controller type and actual physical clearances before ordering anything. “LS-compatible” is not the same thing as “fits this exact truck.”
